The provisional measure creating the 13th salary of Bolsa Família ended up losing its validity in March 2020 because it was not voted on. And the Senate Agency confirmed by communication on March 25, 2020 that the provisional measure (MPV 898/2019) that provided for the payment of the 13th salary to beneficiaries was no longer valid.

About the provisional measure of the 13th salary
The provisional measure (MP) was published by the federal government, which released resources for Bolsa Família beneficiaries to receive the thirteenth salary. However, the payment was to be released only once, which was in 2019.
The measure was intended only to fulfill the promise made by the president during the campaign.
The opposition wanted to extend the 13th salary for the Continued Cash Benefit (BPC) to make it something more lasting. Meanwhile, the government articulated that the MP was losing steam.
Therefore, a new deputy or bill must be sent to the National Congress to release the thirteenth salary of Bolsa Família. Which finally did not happen and the MP expired in March 2020.
